Although flamenco seems to be more rooted in Andalusia than in Barcelona, nowadays this city presents a great offer of authentic flamenco. All this is due to the fact that many centuries ago, Andalusian families moved to Barcelona and continued dancing and singing through the streets and places of the city.
One of those places was the popular "Charco de la Pava" which at that time enjoyed great popularity. The interior of this place looked like a bullring and the nights were encouraged by artists who, with the passage of time, would achieve fame throughout Spain, such as El Pescailla.
In 1961 the "Charco de la Pava" closed and this place has evolved into what it is today, Las Ramblas Flamenco, where its artists give the best of themselves in each performance, so you will live with total intensity this unique flamenco show.
